What fun it is to be 15 months!

What fun it is to be 15 months old!
There are sooooo many new things to do
For instance, today I managed all these:
* Climbed two steps of a ladder. This ladder goes up to the loft where daddy keeps his exciting BUSY stuff - tools and screws and things - however my daddy, whilst enthusiastic about my achievement, thinks I might get hurt so is going to try and keep the ladder up out of my way for the time being.
* Succeeded in getting through to someone on the phone. Like most toddlers' first successful phone call, mine was to the police. They suggested my daddy might put the phone up on the wall out of my reach - my daddy has yet to see my reaction when I find that it has been moved - but his desk phone should still be accessible with a bit of effort, though no doubt that will get moved too.
* Moved a book by Mr Davis across the room to be neighbour to Mr Law's book. This would have been quite confusing for Mummy and Daddy if Mummy hadn't spotted me doing it - they might not have been able to find Mr Davis' book if someone had ordered it. You will probably think that my daddy is exaggerating if I tell you that he thinks that this is only just outside the range of my understanding.
I've also got to the stage where I can take four or five steps on my own, so running away as opposed to just crawling away fast should only take a few more weeks practice. Probably by then Mummy and Daddy will be concentrating on my new little brother or sister (we don't know which I'm getting yet) and won't be so bothered anyway. But really I'm quite a sensible little girl - don't you think? - in this next photo you'd hardly know I was the same girl as the little dancing rascal at the top of this my first blog post, would you?

Bye Bye now!
Abigail

How long till Baby #2 arrives? (Comment this)
Brother/sister expected in about 3 weeks.
BTW Rachel just took Abigail downstairs. Her reaction on noticing the phone's new location was
* to say "uuuhhh" (slightly distressed sound)
* and then "hello" (what she says on the phone provided she's not being asked to talk to someone - when she generally says nothing)
* and to look very puzzled (Comment this)
"Children are an inheritance from the Lord" - - a blessing to have a "quiver full". (Wonder how many that is?)
