Often comments on points of Hebrew/Greek translation or figures of speech used. Matthew Poole (1624-1679) was a minister in London, resigned his charge in 1662 on the passing of the Act of Uniformity, and died in Amsterdam. Covers covered with adhesive vinyl, hinges weak, a few early and late pages loose, otherwise fairly good internally. GBP 5.75

Covers quite badly damp-damaged, with a degree of staining extending throughout Pilgrim's Progress. This book may however be of value to someone to salvage for the other books included, which are undamaged apart from slight staining to about the last 25 pages. Also the plates in the Pilgrim's Progress might be suitable for framing. GBP 2.25
